Comparative copies in major libraries suggest some versions were issued without maps, possibly as proofs or for benefactors.The full edition typically included 50 county maps and descriptions, much of it derived from Speed and Camden. This reuse may have contributed to poor reception and limited sales.Despite this, the volume remains valuable for its heraldic plates and lists of nobility and gentry. These lists offer rich insights when read alongside contemporary cartographic works.
